RARE MADONNA PHOTOS

NEVER-BEFORE SEEN OR PUBLISHED PHOTO, circa 1978. This amazing piece of pop music history has been hidden from the public for over 30 years. After all the recent hype over that ugly nude photo of Madonna selling for over $37,000 (see a link to the article here), I decided (after a lot of careful thought) to part with one of my most prized possessions - a much more tasteful, beautiful ORIGINAL photo of Madonna, of equal or greater rarity, from around the same era. It is a stunning photo from Madonna's dancing/modeling days, taken by Cecil Taylor in Ann Arbor, Michigan sometime between 1977 and 1979. It is an absolute ORIGINAL (probably silver gelatin) photo print, on very heavy (almost watercolor-type) paper, from the original negative. The actual image size is about 13" high, and the overall paper size is 11" x 17". It is in absolutely flawless, perfect condition and shows no signs of fading or staining whatsoever. The back of the print has a stamped copyright notice, and photographer's stamp (Cecil I. Taylor, All Rights Reserved).

This one is one that you would actually WANT to frame and hang in your apartment); and, unlike the nude photo, there are not dozens of other similar "outtakes" floating around - this photo is a true one-off, one-of-a-kind. This is something I've just been kinda keeping "up my sleeve" for a rainy day. Well, I think now might be the time to part with it.
