It is that time of year again! Yes that's right! It's time for MADONNA FEST 1999!! The 1 & Only "True Blue" Maddy - Fan Appreciation Convention! August 14th & 15th @ the Holiday Inn in Livonia, Michigan. The home of Madonna Fest 95!
We have moved the convention back to the luxurious setting of the Livonia, Holiday Inn this year for our 7th anniversary of the convention. The Hotel is located just off I - 275 at the 6 Mile Rd Exit. Their formal address is 17123 Laurel Park Drive. For hotel accomidations for Madonna Fest 99 the Holiday Inn is featuring a special room rate of $84 for Madonna Festers. For reservations for Madonna Fest 99 the hotel can be reached at (734) 464-1300. When making your room reservations for this years fest make sure you tell the reservationist that you need to book a room for Madonna Fest 1999! To secure the special room rate.
This years Madonna Fest will feature many New & Old activities. You may want to arrive early this year to make it to the Madonna Dance Party on Friday night August 13th @ Tremmors Nite Club at the Hotel. (you must be 21 years of age to get into Tremmors) Then after a night of Mo Madness at Tremmors we will get the festivities started at Noon, Saturday August 14th in the Ambassador Ballroom with Registration! (Registration is the time in which people are getting checked into the hotel if they have not arrived yet or if you have not purchased your 2 Day VIP Pass for the convention yet.)
Registration for the convention will be from Noon until 6pm in the Ambassador Ballroom. During registration you will be ablr to pick up your single day Madonna Fest Ticket for Sunday, August 15th or a 2 Day VIP Pass that gets you into all of the events for Madonna Fest 99. The Single Day ticket price for Sunday August 15th is $15 this year and a 2 Day VIP Pass is $20! Also during Registration from Noon to 6pm we will be showing rare Madonna videos, Vogue Bingo will be taking place for fun & prizes, Madonna Karaoke & the 7th Annual Madonna Fest Charity Auction to benifit MAPP (Midwest Aids Prevention Project) If you do not have a VIP Pass we ask for a $3 donation to be made to MAPP for entry into this event. We also ask that each convention goer bring a item of Madonna Music or Memorabilia to be donated to help raise money for MAPP. Then we will take a short break for dinner and to get ready for the Madonna Birthday Bash hosted by MENJO'S Nite Club. (Menjo's is one of Madonnas old home town haunts) Menjos will feature Madonna Music all night long, a Huge Birthday Cake, Look A Like Contest at Midnight! (You must be 18 years of age to get into Menjos) Then it's back to the Hotel for BedTime Stories at 3 am!
Bright & Early Sunday, August 15th at 11am (and believe me it is early after Menjos) we will get under way with the Madonna Fest Day Memorabilia Show & Birthday Bash! The Memorabilia Show will feature dealers from around the world Buying, Selling and Trading - Madonna Music & Memorabilia. Dealer tables are available at the cost of $50 for 1 table and $25 for each additional table. So if you would like to get in on the buying, selling and trading just get a hold of me. (we will need to know in advance if you would like a vendors table) The Madonna Fest Birthday Bash will also feature another birthday cake, birthday party games (like pin the pony tail on Madonna) a huge birthday card for all to sign that we will be sending to Madonna, Another look a like contest & a Vogue Contest. So break out your best Madonna costume & your dancing shoes! Sunday afternoon at 2 pm will also feature Fresh in From Las Vegas the return of World Renown - Madonna Impersonator "Melissa Totten"!! This will be the 4th return appearance by Melissa to the convention and we are proud to have her back. If you have never caught Melissa's preformance anywhere around the world your in for a treat. Things will wind down in the Grand & Eligant Renaissance Ballroom about 6pm. Please plan on staying over with us Sunday night as we will be cracking open the champagne and relaxing by the pool that evening. It's a great place to wind down strike up a new friendship with fellow Madoona fans.
Tickets & Passes can be purchased through the mail until August 10th, after that they can be picked up during Registration or at the door of any of the events. To order your Sunday August 15th single day ticket at $15 or your Madonna Fest 1999 2 Day Vip Pass for $20 please make your Check or Money Order made payable to Blain Klein and send it to my address listed below.
